Filtering the world through their fabulously twisted minds, this dynamic duo deliver a deliciously dark feast of character comedy and stand-up.
As well as six years performing at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival, Shirley & Shirley have travelled the length and breadth of Britain bringing joy to its most insalubrious venues including Madam Jojo’s, Soho Theatre, Latitude, Leicester Comedy Festival, The Stand Comedy Club, Bloomsbury Theatre, Spank at The Southbank, not excluding Bolu Kebab House.
These two childhood friends have shocked and awed many unsuspecting audiences for over a decade. They are without a doubt, the best Irish-Palestinian, British-Surinamese duo on the circuit.
Credits include: Sketchorama (BBC Radio 4), BBC Comedy Online, Bad Teeth (Hat Trick Productions), The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret (C4), PhoneShop (C4), Marley’s Ghosts (Gold), Purge of Thrones (Netflix)
“The Shirleys are a comedic tour de force. They took the roof off at the annual Stonewall Comedy fundraiser. Easily adapting to the audience in front of them they created an electric energy in the Bloomsbury Theatre with their larger than life characters, incredible pace and dynamite charisma. I can’t recommend them highly enough.”
“If you are planning a corporate event and want some real entertainment, something memorable I can wholeheartedly recommend Pascale and Joanna, ‘Shirley & Shirley’.”
Five Stars. Shirley and Shirley burst through gender boundaries. Flirty, filthy and funny as fuck.
We were thrilled to programme the riotous, risible and damn right naughty SHIRLEY & SHIRLEY at Curve as one of our headline acts for the Leicester Comedy Festival. This quick-witted double-act had a sold-out audience in stiches who were left wanting more. We will certainly be getting them back to our theatre in the future
